北苏门答腊大学的简介




Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) is one of the prestigious academic institution in Indonesia located in Medan, North Sumatra. USU is the oldest and one of the biggest public universities outside Java that was initiated by the establishment of University of Sumatera Utara Foundation on June 4, 1952, pioneered by Abdul Hakim, the Governor of North Sumatra. 
USU has two campuses, Padang Bulan Campus and Kwala Bekala Campus. The main Padang Bulan Campus occupies a green area of approximately 120 hectares. Padang Bulan Campus accommodates all lecturing, practicum and research activities for more than 50,000 students. Academic activities in Kwala Bekala Campus are focused on agroforestry, animal husbandry, poultry and environmental management sustainability.
